Somerset Council

Somerset Council is the Unitary Authority for Glastonbury. Somerset Council replaced the former Somerset County Council and the former Mendip District Council, assuming responsibility for a wide range of services including, benefits, bins, care for adults and children, Council Tax, Environmental Health, housing, libraries, planning, highways, and roads. 

Glastonbury's Member of Parliament

Sarah Joanne Dyke is a British Liberal Democrat politician who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Glastonbury and Somerton, and previously the MP for Somerton and Frome.
