Zoe Price

Councillor Zoe Price has lived in Glastonbury with her family for 27 years and is proud to serve as the town's Mayor for 2026-27. Elected to St John's Ward in 2023 and Deputy Mayor in 2025, Zoe combines her civic role with her professional work as a social worker for a high-needs fostering service.

A lifelong community volunteer, Zoe has provided birth and death doula support to friends and family, reflecting her commitment to care, compassion and community. Deeply rooted in Glastonbury community life, she is a shareholder of the Assembly Rooms and the Red Brick Building as well as a trustee of the Glastonbury and District Charity. Zoe is currently Chaired Ovate of the 'Gorsedh Ynys Witrin' the Bards and Druids of Glastonbury and chaired the town's community Beltane celebration meetings in 2025 and 2026.

Inspired by the legacy of her late mother, former Green Party Mayor Denise Michell Price, her mayoral year focuses on cooperation, kindness, youth engagement, and strengthening community life in Glastonbury.
