What is the Local Community Network?

The Avalon and Poldens Local Community Network (LCN) brings together local councils, community organisations, public services and residents to discuss the issues that matter most across our area. It provides a forum for communities to work together, share ideas and develop practical solutions to local challenges.

Supporting Glastonbury and the Wider Area

Glastonbury is one of 23 towns and parishes within the Avalon and Poldens LCN. The network encourages collaboration on issues that affect neighbouring communities, including health and wellbeing, transport, active travel, the environment, local resilience and economic opportunities.

By working together across parish boundaries, organisations can share knowledge, identify priorities and develop projects that benefit the wider area.
