Lokabandhu

I was elected to the Town Council in 2022 and while it's not quite true to say I've enjoyed every minute, it's certainly been a deeply rewarding experience, I've learnt so much about our town and hopefully contributed something along the way. In 2024 - 5 I had the honour of being Mayor and made interfaith relations my theme, this felt especially appropriate here in Glastonbury. Things can sometimes seem to move very slowly in Council-land but that's because we have to take great care to do things properly. Actually it's been an exciting time, with GTC radically expanding what it offers in the face of Somerset's ongoing financial emergency. I feel we've really stepped up and feel proud to have been part of that.
