Lindsay MacDougall

Lindsay has been a town councillor since 2015 and was a Mendip District Councillor from 2019 until 2023, when Somerset County Council and Mendip District Council became one Unitary Council.  She served on Mendip District Planning Board for that period.  She is a member of a number of committees involved in running the town council, including specifically: Planning Committee, with a strong interest in providing more homes for social rent; and the Climate & Ecological Emergency Committee, currently focussing on River Brue water quality."  She is also the town council Fairtrade representative, having worked for 7 years for a fairtrade clothing shop in town.
