Following consultation:
The Glastonbury Neighbourhood Plan sets out a community-led vision for how the town should grow and develop between now and 2040.
Protecting green spaces, biodiversity, trees, orchards, and wildlife habitats.
Supporting renewable energy, reducing carbon emissions, and encouraging sustainable travel.
Supporting local businesses, tourism, enterprise, and town centre vitality.
The final stage of this process is a referendum. The Town Council and planning authority are trying to align that with the next elections in May 2027.
