Another Successful Christmas Day Lunch at the Glastonbury Town Hall!

With lots of organising and our wonderful volunteers for both setting up and peeling the vegetables on Christmas Eve then giving up their time with cooking and helping on Christmas Day.  A record of just over 360 people who would of otherwise be on their own celebrated Christmas at the Glastonbury Town Hall enjoying a lovely cooked Christmas dinner and if any room left a pudding!

The Mayor of Glastonbury, Cllr Indra Donfrancesco was there to lend a hand and talked to some of our many guests.

A lot of hard work goes into arranging community lunches like this and without help and support from the many this would not be possible.

The organisers of the Glastonbury Community Lunch would like to thank the following for their support:-

Avalon Organic Greenhouse, Blue Cedar Print Works, Brides Food Co-op, Burns the Bread, Chalice Well, Dearbhaile Bradley, Earth Fayre, Feed Avalon, Fresh & Good, George & Pilgrim, Glastonbury & Street Lions Club, Glastonbury Natural Fruit & Veg, Glastonbury Town Council, Herbal Brue, Kim Robinson, Knights Fish & Chips, Lillah Lotus, Little Acre Kitchen, Love Glastonbury, Michelle Darnell-Roberts, Morrisons, Cllr Nick Cottle, Normal for Glastonbury, Paddington Farm Trust, Partners in Cream, Plotgate CSA, Rainbow End Cafe, Robert Bedford, Sarah Briton, Somerset Community Food, Somerset Community Foundation, St Benedict’s Church, Susannah Clemence, The Middlewick, The Speaking Tree, Wendy Griffin, Zigzag Building, Stephen The Butchers and Strode College.

Plus the team of volunteers who have made this happen.
