5G Statement and Clarification

Glastonbury Town Council does not, and has never, recommended or endorsed the ‘5GBioShield’ or any other ‘anti-5G’ devices offering protection against the supposed negative health effects of fifth generation cellular network technology.

The recent article ‘Pulling apart a £339 anti-5G USB stick’ by the BBC states that “The 5GBioShield was recommended by a member of Glastonbury Town Council’s 5G Advisory Committee”, but it fails to clarify that it is referencing the personal opinion of a member of the public.  The article fails to clarify that this ‘recommendation’ was not part of the 5G Advisory Committee’s four recommendations to Glastonbury Town Council.  The article also fails to clarify that this ‘recommendation’ does not represent the official policy or position of Glastonbury Town Council.
